Supra is about style, class, power, rip roaring, head turning, people stopping exhilarating FUN.. it's about the grin on your face knowing it's outside your front door, it's about the fizz of your blood round your veins when you open that door, it's about thrill of driving it and people's expressions when they see it, it's about the gut wrenching sadness when you park up and have to get out of it and then the heart pounding countdown until you get in it again...
Everyone I know who has said they think the driving seat would be claustrophobic when they see how it curves round has instantly changed their mind when they've driven one

You've pretty much just described driving anything you enjoy though, with the exception of anyone else looking at it which I've never really understood. I'm always happier in the car, it might not be as fast as a supra in a straight line but I don't like driving in straight lines :p
My issue with the interior isn't claustrophobia, I just don't like how it looks. I can see why you'd like it if you're into 90's styling, I'd just want something that I liked more. I don't like the RX7 interior either. I do get the appeal of the jet fighter cockpit look, but other than a rev gauge and a windscreen I don't really like anything else being in the way.
I like the Supra from every angle except the front really, I still think it's got one of the best rear ends ever designed.
And I resent that, I de-beiged my car :p

I can't believe people are actually debating which is better between a supra and an is200. Take the complete bog standard versions and there is no competition. Supra every time. They are two completely different cars as well. One is a two door sports car and the other is a 4 door luxury car. In two completely different categories

ok, bog standard NA is300 vs bog standard supra NA auto, I'd have the is300 every time.

LOL, get yourself over to LOC; there's a chump on there that's absolutely convinced his IS300 is a "4 door Supra", and quotes it at every opportunity. I think he's watched Fast & Furious too many times, as he loves to constantly reference "2JZ" all the time too. Complete chump, but mildly amusing, which kinda breaks up the seriousness of the forum
