It is! I was banking on it being about an inch thick and it's nearly two! It all helps move the gearbox further back Smile

You'd hope so for the amount it cost... as you can probably tell it adapts the auto gearbox bellhousing from the V8 onto the manual gearbox from the Chaser. The bolt pattern on the V8 block is unique and the only thing that bolts to it is the auto bellhousing.

The adaptor has to be that thick to accommodate the length of the input shaft so it sits nicely in the crank (in a new spigot bearing included with the kit).

By the look of the gearbox adapter it's a concentric clutch with the hydraulic centre clutch release

Yeah what Stav said. In the first pic you can see the hydraulic release bolted to the middle of the adaptor. It's not fitted in the later photos as I need to cut the sleeve off that goes round the input shaft. Then I'll need to drill a small hole in the bellhousing for two -3 hoses.
