Banzai answer to IS200 engine conversion
However they suggested putting a 1UZ-FE V8 in instead, wonder if they got that idea from someone else??

11-08-2016, 04:05 AM #1Anyone seen the new Banzai, there's a chap asking about putting a 1JZ-GTE in his IS200, they've said its pretty much not worthwhile as it'd be too hard to fit and modifications would be impossible because of lack of space, I thought Stav's was ok ? . . .
However they suggested putting a 1UZ-FE V8 in instead, wonder if they got that idea from someone else??
I've spoken with Silverline who have said they could do me a 1JZ-GTE into a IS200 no problems but will cost from £9k only problem is sourcing a R154 gearbox or V160/161, ideally you just get a manual 1JZ soarer then use it as a donor car

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
