The first thing I did was sell the wheels and got Demon Tweeks to build a custom exhaust for my mx5. I got a savage jap can with a 3.5" tail pipe then a custom welded straight through cat back centre pipe.

I also made sure that it was built on an upswept angle and coming out on an angle also.

I took her to a few JDM meets and was getting a lot of attention from the look I gave her but I decided to go full jap and try to change the look completely.

At this point I didn't know what style to go for in the jap scene whether it would be JDM track, JDM stance or Drift. but after stepping into a friends Nissan Silvia S15 that was tuned to 350bhp and set up for drifting I decided I knew what I wanted to do.
I bought some steels and started to practice drifting around my local industrial estates and at night going to some quite roads to use roundabouts. I then purchased some rota fighters and had some toyo proxies put on them. to start off with I thought oh no too much grip but the extra grip helped sustain a good drift. I got bored of this any way and decided I was going to try and make a drift car that I could also take to shows and well show it off

I purchased a japspeed extra large BIG GAY WING. I thought I should get a spoiler that would put my mx5 on the map so people would remember it. but after a bargain of £250 I found out it was extremely big and worried that if I couldn't get a wide wheel to go with it the wing would look stupid.

Then finally after two weeks my car went from the JEM look to the JDM drift look. I bought some new rota grid v wheels 15" 4x100 8j front and rear with et0. the wheels were black and I later found out in this size these could only be purchased from the us so they are a rare sight.

Now the wheels were on I got the spoiler fitted it and tbh I have got nothing but good reviews and amazing attention drawn to it. the car has turned out great but far from finished. I have a stand pass with outlaws so I will be bringing the 5 to show with you guys what do you think?

lmao its huge but its a big gay wing it would look like a Halfords special if it wasn't that big. cheers mate wheels are really nice only actually got them yesterday and fitted them on took it for a drive.
