Something also to think about is - how does it drive ? e.g. what sort of revs does the boost come in, does it come in suddently or gradually, etc ? So will it drive in a way that you're happy with ? Difficult to tell without driving a suitably-equipped car yourself, but maybe you can get some feedback from the US on that ?

It is something to consider for sure, I would still want it to be a daily driver, I'll look into this point, cheers

That's the thing, if you want a daily driver then you might be looking for something different from someone who only uses their car for a burn-up at the weekend.

TGT will soon be having an open day, i believe it will be end of October but no dates confirmed yet! Im going to try and organise a Outlaw attendance as well so might be a good idea if you are free to attend and talk to James in person. Im sure alot of his other work will be in attendance so you can see the quality of the work and what he is capable of.

Jason Big Grin

The 'Demon' is on its way :Shooting:

My opinion of Toyota GT is that the work is of a good standard.

Yes I have had my fair share of problems and all of them have been sorted out (with the exception of the gearbox and power issue - these are still to be booked in, in fact going to make a call to them now!!), few of them could have been foreseen unless you have a crystal ball!!

James NEEDS a secretary as his communication is not that good, that is almost always down to a huge work load and not to "Being Rude".

I do like the guys down there and will of course use them again, even though they are 2 hours + away from me.

If you want a turbo upgrade I SERIOUSLY think you can't go far wrong with the SPC solution.

To answer the original question their knowledge base for the IS200 is FANTASTIC - even the wiring issues well documented for the engine swap were a walk in the park for them, my car was stripped down to almost nothing and all back together again with no problems, everything still works that worked before, no rattles, squeaks, etc.......

Yeah as have been said before - the work at TGT is top notch - it's just the customer service that needs to be worked on. They are nice guys though.
