*BUMP*

Just seen this thread. What happened with this setup then Mr. Quinn? I'm sure there was a car with this setup in it for sale on ebay the last couple weeks?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

You mean the black one that was for sale? It was very similar indeed but I don't think it was the same engine...

Well the good news is its all in and running, I posted on here a few weeks ago about a problem with it cutting out wjen ive put my foot down, usually on the dual carriageway or after hard acceleration and coming off the gas quickly, ive tried lots of things to cure it, its running a mini bypass valve and with just that it cuts out alot, with the bypass valve and a recirc bov its loads better so ive tried running the bypass valve, the recirc bov and a hks ssqv to see if it cures it and still hasn't Sad
The only thing i can think of trying next is trying to get the clutch on the supercharger operational again Confused
And im assuming its not going into limp mode due to fuel cut as its got the aem piggy back which has been mapped so surely this would remove the need for a fcd?
Any suggestions what to try next would be appreciated Smile
Thanks

Have you had the aem piggy back mapped yourself mate or is it running a base map of some sort? If so then that may be the cause.

just for your info, im running a mini cooper bypass and ssqv, but with a 130mm pulley and patricks black box and mines running fine

i'd be looking at the ECU, and getting it mapped

The fault code should give an idea as to the cause. Could need mapping again or just the voltage clamp that acts as an FCD is set wrong, check that first if possible.
