Buried my head deep in wiring this evening. Got most of it figured out and I reckon by the end of the week I should have the ECU wired up to the point of having circuit opening relays, a fuel pump and an engine warning light.

Also found this site! Very useful as my workshop manual is missing the entire diagnostics section which is hundreds of pages long:

I don't mind wiring actually Smile

3 of the 6 plugs on the ECU are on a totally separate loom that goes straight onto the engine, so I don't need to mess about with any of that. All I've got to do is wire up the stuff that goes from the ECU to elsewhere in the car (fuel pump, fusebox, immobiliser transponder, secondary o2 sensors, OBD2 socket blah blah blah)

Your specialist subject! I've got 2 more ECU plugs + wiring to extract from the LS400 loom, one of them looks to only have the immobiliser wiring and the alternator exciter wire though so nice and easy.

The good thing is that I have all these looms, if I had bought a front cut or an engine + ECU I might not have all this. I even have the stock OBD2 port lol
