Hi,

Does anyone know if the Altezza cluster is straight swap for the Lexus IS200 (TRD, Modellista or Kouki type)? Is it just plug&play or re-wiring is needed? Does all the functions of the Altezza cluster operate normal or not?

Stav had an Altezza cluster briefly and I believe he had an issue with the rev counter as it was from a 4-cyl car. Assuming you mean an Altezza RS200 anyway. Stav got round it by modifying the output from his Link ECU - if you're not running a custom ECU you can get around it with a Dakota signal interface.

I had an Altezza (Modellista) speedo in mine for a while, it's all plug and play. But you will need converters to change the 4 cylinder output to 6 cylinders, and also Km/h to MPH. (same converter can be used for both)

Also the lights do come on, but for some reason the dimmer switch does not dim them anymore.

And the speedo I got had an oil pressure gauge instead of MPG which did not function.
