Anyone had any experience with them? I'm going to be changing both front ball joints very soon and got a price from andrew page in stockport today of £41+vat each for blueprint ones but on eBay they're less than £35 for a pair of no name ones.

I can't speak bout the ball joints but I bought some no name top arms for a passat and ended up changing them again in less than 2 months as the collapsed.

That's exactly what I was afraid of! I've always stuck with blueprint parts myself so think I may just spend the extra and get blueprint

For a few quid more you get the genuine part.. I paid £100.00 for the pair, fitted them in about hour and half with basic tools, and my scissor jack. Ps: I bought the breaker for about £7.00 makes life so much easier.

Ormi won't touch aftermarket ball joints after a couple went pop and took out his front wing... OEM is the way to go...

Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

What about blueprint ones? Their stuff tends to be good quality

Blueprint quality is quite good, but the genuine parts are cheaper, I got a genuine ball joint from my local Toyota dealer for about £41 inc vat after asking for some discount. Full retail price was about £46.50.

That's not a bad price. I'll get a quote from the dealer this weekend

You might need the part number if you go to Toyota

Toyodiy list
Left 43340-59066
Right 43330-59066

The left ball joint number has been updated to 43340-59135 but I gave the parts desk the older number and they got the correct part.
