02 Sensor Heater issue
02 Sensor Heater issue
I've got the EML on in my IS200 with code P0135, 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1.
I've tried replacing the sensor and deleting the code but it's come back straight away. The sensor itself must be working fine as fuel consumption and such hasn't been effected at all. I understand there's a heater element built into the sensor but I imagine this is working fine in the new sensor. Any ideas what the issue could be?

05-11-2021, 11:40 AM #3Yeah, that's definitely a possibility. If I use a sensor simulator that includes the heater element signal to get rid of the EML will this effect fuelling/engine running?

11-11-2022, 10:48 AM #6Hmm, I changed the manifold since getting the error code but it still comes on... I've kinda just resigned myself to the fact it's always on now. Engine runs fine and still get about 400 miles to a tank, just annoys me a bit that the light is always there on the dash

11-11-2022, 09:14 PM #7There must be an issue with the wiring or Ecu if it comes on straight away. Normally the o2 sensors that a while to come back on

12-11-2022, 03:36 AM #8Yeah, also if I delete the code while the engine is up to temperature the light stays out, but if I delete the code before it's up to temperature it comes back on...
