hi all, i got some nice bucket seats of a friend cheap with side mounts.
what is needed to make the swap? i saw something about airbag cancellers plug but i dont know if or how to fit them. and is there anything else i need or can i just do a swap without anything going wrong. all sort the rain thing out later.

Your gonna need mounts making up as well.
Airbag cancellers are just resistors so easy t fit.

dont have steering wheel airbag as itsd aftermarket so only airbag left is passenger one. i drilled my own holes on frame n got one fitted so far i will post pics of install. to be honest it has been very easy for me i dont have good drill or vice so drilling has been difficult but i know if i had that sorted i would of done it with in 2 to 3 hours, i used orignal frame from old seats.

only got a few i put on photo bucket but you can see after i strip original seat what i am left with. then i bold side panels to rails and then seat.

the way the side panels are in the pic is the same for other side of seat. they are NOT both faceing outwards. i will be getting fabric and foam to cover the panels to tidy it up not bad for a days job i think. and i didnt spend any cash on rails.

How do you find the height mate?

I found I was too high when I made a seat mount

i think mine is fine, but all i need to do is drill holes lower on the side mounts if i wanted to. it is taken me a bit to get used to but feels much better, next is the harnesses Smile
