So today i finaly got around to having some tyres put on my new wheels. It the snowed & sleeted for half an hour so i took that as a sign not to put them on yet:Sulk: so anyway just got a quick question ive got some nuts to use which i know are fine for the job, but i also have a set of some that look like bullets ( cheesey as hell but i like em ) But these ones are the slim "tuner" type ones for the narrow bore bolt holes on some wheels. My wheels are just normal bore bolt holes with plenty of room for a socket down them. What i want to know is are the slim nuts gonna be safe to use as they are only 19mm od across the top of the taper or should i just use the standard style wider ones? I emailed wolfrace this question a couple of weeks back but no reply.

Cheers yeah they are 60 deg. I have found that rimstyle offer the same bullet nuts as an option with fitting kits. Might give them a call, say I bought the wheels off them and ask the question as if I might wanna buy the nuts of em.

OK so rimstyle say they think ( but are not certain ) that I should be ok? I had to say didn't know the model of my wheels because I know they never sold the model I have, so they can't be sure. I think I might go with the standard types just so I'm sure.

Tuner nuts have a steeper angle to normal nuts dont they? Compare the 2 and see if they are different. If not I'm sure the tuner nuts would be ok, its the angle of the taper that's the important part
