orry to hear of your bad news, hope you get it all sorted soon
My mum (In deans lex), drove into the back of someone at about 25mph. That car then nudged a small van infront. the person infront claimed for bodywork damage. the van hit at about 5mph claimed whiplash, and claimed his van was undriveable after the incident, and had no transport to work.
(Despite he drove away from the accident.)
Just shows that insurance companies dont look into things much/ speeds hit etc. Peeople are trying anything for money now, so keep an eye out.

Spoke to the repairers today and after having a quick look at it he thinks its a write off!!

You may always offer to buy it back from the insurance (subject to being write off)should you wish to keep it...

Car was stnd, if they write it off i may buy it back and fix it myself through the garage.
