Bit of good news for a change :-)
Bit of good news for a change :-)
Had an interview today with the local Job Centre,
The interview usually go like this....
sign here and we'll see you in 2 weeks :cursing:
But today i had a different one
They have now offered me as much help as needed to get working again, be it starting my own buisiness (with supply/payment of items if i need them?) financial backing to get going and a personal advisor? plus quite a few other things like training etc...
So after a chat they have now given me the course i've been after and are paying for everything (even fuel and food costs) Going to be doing the level 1 and level 2 SIA security training plus on going aftercare and further training
Should be starting the 4 week course on the 14 October (this month) and going to be covering all the parts of the training program?
Bit of the program list...

Most courses only cover a certain part or a couple of them at a time, but they have given me the whole lot, and i cant wait to get going now
So if all goes well i'll hopefully be working again very soon :w00t::w00t:
thats excellent news, there get things done only when they want to !
good luck and let us know how you get on !
That is great news, good luck with it!
congrats chris, hope it turns out good for you
That is good news mate, but what happened to the other thing you spoke about.
Just asking mate when you do the course is there any jobs to get at the end of it.
Just hope you get something good out of it mate :thumbup1:
With the company that i'm doing the training with, they give you contacts after the training, they have a lot of company's that use them for the supply of personnel and help you get employment at the end of the course? A good thing is, is they even pay for the license at the end of it, which most company's don't and for the license itself its £250 so just getting that is a bonus at the moment
But it does open quite a few windows for me, due to the amount of work there is around here in those fields, so hopefully i'll get something sorted pretty quick, plus i have a few good contacts in the same field which will help quite a bit :thumbup1:
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: fingers crossed for you bud
Excellent news mate, the SIA can open up alsorts of doors.
My mates got one, he's a bouncer and a clamper (dont hate him)
but you can also work security at power stations and such,
Cheers matey, yeh i have a couple of contacts that do the airports and some of there guys do some of the big footy clubs plus concerts? there are quite a few options out there, just got to find the right one :thumbup1:
