Just found this really good example in Fast Car magazine from a Type R so same boot as mine.

Ignore the air tank as I'm not on air. Looking at the sub woofer more than anything and trying not to lose much boot space.

Any one shed light on how it's done please? You don't cut in to the seats?

whats your boot floor like? if you have a spare wheel and you dont mind going without one you could just use that space?

Alternative is if your wheel is stored face down, then you can build a sub above it with a false floor so you keep the boot.
