well thought i'd help a mate out he said he cooked the head gasket on his isuzu trooper 2.5td(don't normaly do homers of that size also it got brought to me on a transporter) all going well beasting along nicely well apart from a few of the turbo bolts snapping(i'll just drill them out) finally removed the head removed gasket and looked at the gasket nothing wrong looked at the head(prone to cracking between valves) head fine then it sank in i turned round and looked at the block well this is what i found :crying::crying:

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

to be honest i've done a few diesels that have done that.
heres a pic of the last rebuild i done..nightmare and it sat in bits for 10days as the bits were on back order!!!!!

ye but then i just think of the ££££££££££££ need them to buy the charger next year.wish he had told me the noise the engine was making it got recovered to me and the boy said it was the head gasket but don't start it i ****** should have then i wouldn't have wasted 3 hours stripping it!!i could have had the engine out in 3 hours!!!:cursing:

tell me about it mate i got married last year 08/08/08 we saved up ourselfs for two years(sounds a long time but we pay out £2250 for the morgage and bills)it cost us just over £17,000 had to give my wife her ideal wedding.my wee sis got married the month before and it cost them just under £33,000 mental money!!!!
ye going to be fitting an engine in it bud its too good to scrap its mint.

nightmare bud!! i remember the sound when i changed the headgasket on my 205 gti some years ago then fired her up and it was a metal on metal squeek and stopped, d'oh!! good luck with it though duder.
