Yeah I've seen people that have modified their air boxes. Seems like too much work to me. I'm removing mine and sticking it in storage just incase I return the car to standard. My in/outlets are just made of steel. As long as they don't leak you can use a flat plate with a pipe sticking out of it. Hardest part I found was simply making enough room.
It's a really simple build.

Aye.. Just got to get my hands on one, else I'll have to make a new mould from scratch. I prefer the air box with the existing air duct rather than having a snorkel running down to the OS wing..
