Hi

I am running a supercharged is200 currently running 155mm pulley and greddy e manage ultimate.
I have mapped the car and everything runs fine but only problem i get is when its cold the car is running little bit leaner and when warm it is running a bit richer.
Now i wanted to wire up my intake temperature sensor so i could have a compensation map when its cold and warm so the air fuel ratio is the same at cold and warm weather.
Soldered the intake air temp sensor signal wire to the greddy e manage ultimate and set the jumper settings to intake temp sensor.

Now i got the following problem.
whatever temperature it is outside and i read data from my obd2 scan tool i read -4 degrees Celcius on the scan tool.
same goes for the data logging on the greddy e manage. also says minus 4 degrees so i know i got the right wire.
when i unplug the wire from the e manage. The temperature goes back to normal intake temperature. but then again when i connect the wire, the intake temperature drops to minus 4.

I allready tried diffrent sensor settings on the e manage software but no succes.

Could it be that the intake sensor signal just isnt compatible with the greddy e manage ultimate?

I also get the same problem when i wire in the coolant temperature sensor to the greddy e manage.

Does the ultimate not have an auto map setting which can be set to a fixed air-fuel mix?

it could be that the sensor doesnt like two readings being taken at once from it.

Yes that is what i want to do. But to have this function working i need coolant temperature signal. The auto air fuel function only works with warmed up engine.

The other option is to have an intake air temperature compensating map but this only works if the intake air temperature can be wired up.

Sad enough i cant get any of them with the correct readings.

@ stav

That is something i was also thinking. That if i hook it up to the e manage the signal gets split up so only half of the voltage is send to the ecu and other half to the e manage.

Yep we found that on mine trying to do something a few years ago. Buy a second inlet sensor and wire that direct to the emanage.

Just wanted to let you know that i got the temperature sensors working.
Eventhough the manual says you have diffrent jumper settings to use the knock sensors or temp sensors. It seems that the knock sensors and the temperature sensors use the same jumper settings.
So now i got my intake temp sensor wired in and it works.
On my obd2 reader i get the correct reading and on my e manage i get the same numbers but 3 degrees lower but thats no big deal.

Yes i cant believe it was as simple as a jumper. All sorted now
