Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

14-09-2016, 11:07 AM #11Why do you think yours is miles off the OEM settings ? The handling will be a lot better on the WIM settings. Surely it's worth getting it done properly once, rather than get it done wrong once and then done right the next time ?

I guess your right but because it's a favour is not just worth getting it done anyway for now.

I'm hoping he's going to be able to sort it as this is what he does, but obviously if he's ever done any Lexus it'd be to OEM settings and the WIM ones are a different kettle of fish, i've PM'd Tony for some advice so hopefully he'll get a chance to get back to me before Wed:biggrin:

Can someone please help me out? I know Tony's not on here very much so the chance of him getting my PM before tomorrow afternoon is remote, so if anyone's got his number could they text him for me and ask him to check his PM's (off me) if he has time, if he doesn't have the time then I totallly understand just really don't want to go to get this done without all the right info. Had it done tonight don't know how close to WIM's settings it is I did give him WIM's settings and he said he'd done the best he could with the time he had and TBH it feels so much better I can't beleive the difference it makes so i'm very happy:biggrin:

Now all you need to do, is have it checked at WIM, when you have a spare bit of cash, to see how close it is. (Im sure a check isnt that much is it?) At least then you can feel comfortable knowing its as close as can be

I don't know how close it is I just know it feels much better and he said I would get alot less tyre wear so i'm happy.
