The Porsche needs another set of rear tyres - anyone know a good place to buy high performance rubber without emptying to bank???????

225 - 40 - ZR 17 N2
's??

The N2 is the tyre compound and apparently the insurance company can get "difficult" if the wrong compound is used.........

The last set was Conti Sport 2's and lasted ohhhh 6-7K of the wife's driving - which is not at all hard, the car has indeed been to WIM - the front suspension was out and rear camber was also set wrong....

This could have a "Jap" use as a Skyline owner I know uses the above rubber on his car as it is sooooooooooooooo sticky!!

Camskill for me too, they seem to be considerably cheaper than most, cost £10 each to have my tyres fitted locally.

DJ Wozza Have you called Tony @ WIM as their prices are pretty good (Blackboots is WIM's sister company) ?

His prices were far higher than Camskill.

However we sold the Boxter without changing the tyres, as all 4 needed doing, then the exhaust started to blow, MOT time, tax was almost out also, so by returning the Boxter we nearly paid for the MR2 with saved bills:tongue_smilie:.
