Jeff if only 1000 where made. Why sell it. Nice thoThere are actually quite a few more of these watches, as several series of 1000 watches were made. Mine is no. 870/1000, series D which probably means there are at least 4000 made.

Marsdendean Thanks for the information - do you use the watch or is it just stored?I've actually never used it, but I recently had the batteries changed and it works like a charm. I don't really get the point of the moon-o-meter(?), though
Also, I'm not keen on the look of it.
