Is the boot lid hard to change? From an electrical point of view i.e. does the wiring harness come away from the rest of the car easily enough??

All the other bits like locks, lights ets are easy enough.

OH is there anything to gain by re-locating the reverse camera to the lock?? rather than where most people have installed them - next to the number plate lights.

you could put the camera in the boot lock however..

You may not get the correct angle to cover both left/right extremes of the bumper or a good downward angle..

I looked into this but it looked to me that if the boot release in the car/remote decided not to work then you wouldnt have a manual/key release..

worth experimenting if you have the time..

The angle issue was my thinking, didn't think about the boot release issue should the remote or cable ones fail - thanks for that.

i think you have to remove the whole loom off the boot itself iirc
