Clutch - IS200 vs Altezza
Clutch - IS200 vs Altezza
I'm starting to look around at new clutches. Am I right in thinking that the IS200 and Altezza use the same clutch components, i.e. release bearing as well as clutch plate, cover etc ?
Over on Toyo DIY it shows part numbers the same for the clutch plate but slightly different numbers for the clutch cover and release bearing. However, Exedy's website shows exactly the same components for both IS200 and Altezza.
So any Altezza clutch should fit ok ?
*cough* Anyone ? Stav ?
Well mine is running a UK Spec 3SGTE clutch and a standard gearbox if that helps?

Indeed an Altezza one does fit, but i think you have to use the standard IS200 bearing/

Sparkystav Indeed an Altezza one does fit, but i think you have to use the standard IS200 bearing/Thanks, so the Altezza clutch cover fits the IS200 as well as the clutch disc itself ?

ay it does
why you not just get a lexus one?not that expensive.
Thanks guys. Good question Ormi. I might well just end up getting a Lexus OEM one, yes, that's one of the options. As you say they are not particularly expensive. Don't think I'll be getting a Lexus flywheel though !
how much you been quoted for a flywheel??matey
