Why are you getting a brake upgrade ? If you want the brakes discs to look nicer (e.g. grooved etc) then fine. Don't get Yellow Stuff pads though, they're for racing so won't be so good on the street.
I think your money would be *much* better spent on a set of upgraded ARBs, which will vastly improve the handling of your car and therefore the enjoyment.

apparently u dont need to punish them it says they bite well from cold... ill submit feedback after saturday
Marsdendean If its for track, won;t they require more punishment to get them to work 100%, or does it just mean if you punish them they won't fade as quickly??

Lexusboy I think the brakes act differently as if you use the Yellows the brakes need to get much hot to be as effective as green's
But i might stand to be corrected...

They'll probably be fine under normal use, but they'll probably have a higher optimum operating temperature so hard braking without them heated up will probably be less effective than the greens which are probably developed with purely road use in mind.
The yellow pads will hold better temps and grip at higher running speeds like on track or fast street use, if they get too hot the pads glaze over and reduce the breaking efficiency, cold pads always work better than hot hence the reason for vented/grooved or drilled discs, the holes are there to help cool them down and not for show, and usually de-glaze the pad under heavy use giving a good bite most of the time, So the yellow ones are good for fast street or track, but for everyday type of driving your better off going for normal pads?
I had the Mintex Extreme pads on my IS200 SC, and at high speed they were great, but normal driving i found them not as good as the standard pads that were originally fitted?
