The ECU is totally different for the IS200 and IS300, they are different engines and have different pin-outs. e.g. see diagrams here and here. I would be very concerned about a company who says they are the same (assuming we're talking about the engine ECU and not a different ECU) !

Stav can comment better than me, but I would have thought the e-Manage Ultimate wouldn't remove any wires from the ECU at all, it's just connected in to some of the wiring.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

yeah the main ecu from the info i have from stav shows that the main ecu is very much still connected jut the emanage interprets it all 1st i think, so i will be moving both ecu's as they are in my way for the next project

The plugs though i believe are the same so you *could* possibly use it, you would just have to redo a few wire i reckon.

Yes thats hpw the emanage ultimate works, its a piggy back ecu.
It take the signals the engine is sending out and changes them so the ecu thinks its different. (boost level, etc)
then takes the signals the ecu sends out and changes them before they get to the engine (fuel injector signals, etc)

I might well be looking at the wrong thing, but on the diagrams that I posted links to, the IS200 ECU has plugs with three rows of pins, but the IS300 ECU has four rows of pins on each plug. So I don't see how an IS300 harness would help :confused1:
