Well here are the new headers, up-pipe included too (not in the pic) supplied for £395+VAT, real nice welding and solid construction worth the money!! :thumbup1:
Alll fitted now and it actually feels better (and of course sounds better than the cracked ones) the pull even feels smoother now lower down, which they claim is what it will do as they are designed for faster spool up, so I believe them now :tongue_smilie:

Just a little update of the car really, then I will follow up on where it is going

I bought the car in November 2009 not knowing a whole lot about the Impreza as such except that I liked their look and always knew they were a pretty good performance car which I must now agree on Big Grin

I have made a few cosmetic changes as I have posted up in this thread, I think there may be more to come but I am undecided on some yet.

Performance modifications so far it has -

Roger Clark unequal length tubular headers and up-pipe as shown earlier,
Scoobyclinic, open neck sports cat, de-cat centre section
Prodrive back box.
JR panel filter and Re-mapped by JGM (subaru4you)
Dawes device
Grooved front discs and braided hoses all round

Having owned the car a wee while now it feeld fairly quick so today decided to take it to the dyno dynamics at AJEC racing Gloucester to see what how it is actually performing.
I can then have a before and after on my Mods. The graphs below show how it turned out, pretty pleased with it. The chap said it was over-fuelling slightly so would be a bit down on power but not at whole load and it was running at 1.0bar and about 245ft/lb torque.

I was told by the guy this was a good result really as the PPP upgrade gives you 260bhp but running at 1.2bar.

Cool. Is the over-fuelling the reason why the power drops off after 6200rpm ?

I had no idea what a Dawes device was, so I Googled it. So it's basically a manual boost controller ?
