Glad to find this thread Aztec, i was surfing another club website trying to direct someone to this as i was sure i had seen it before, but it had dissapeared along with the content of all of your other helpful posts!!!!!!

A quick question if i may, do you have to leave the small connector still in the amp or did you do this just to keep it out of the way? Meening the amp could be fully removed if you wanted to?

If you remove the amp completely the factory fit sat nav will not work.

Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
