Still think for a good summer tyre you cant go wrong with the Michelin Pilot Sports range, they had great grip on the skyline, and not to noisy on the road :thumbup1:
Oh and get some pic's up of your new wheels :thumbup1:

I rate the Pilot Sports too, I have had them on my BMW and obviously just got a set for the Evo (new PS3 compound)
Personally I'd get Vredestein Ultra Sessantas for the summer which I currently have on my BMW- awesome grip and comfortable. They are very good in the wet too. I know the GS using big tyre sizes so the Michelin PS3s would be rediculous prices (£240 each a tyre!) and I feel the Vredesteins are just as good and half the price. They look cooler too!! Tony@WIM rates them too.
For the winter again Vredestein make some good tyres, but Id got with the tyres recommended in the article Patrik posted
Friction tyres
Continental ContiVikingContact 5
Federal HimalayaWS1
Bridgestone Blizzak Nordic WN-01
ContiWinter Contact TS810
Gislaved Soft Frost 3
Goodride R-VH680
Nokian Hakkapeliitta R
Vredestein Nord-Trac
Michelin X-Ice X12
Pirelli Icestorm 3
Yokohama Ice Guard ig20
Ignoring cost, would you say the michelins or the vredesteins are the better tyre?
Michelins (I think) because when I had the PS2s they were a tiny bit sharper on turn in but nothing significant. The Verdesteins are better in the wet however then the PS2s I had. The Michelins also improve MPG so if money was no object then Michelins but I am more then happy paying £107 for a 255/35/18 Vredestein then £202 for the Michelin! The Verdesteins look much cooler too!
On the Evo I have the PS3s which are supposed to be much better in the wet then then PS2s but I can't compare them because the PS2s were on a different car.
