If you dont mind me asking how much is "he" getting ??
Because it might be a good idea to put it past for a while and if they dont ask for it back and it keeps happening again and again "he" could get an IS200 :tongue_smilie:

If you dont mind me asking how much is "he" getting ??

all depends on the contract/terms of employment.

some employment contracts will have a clause that makes it the employees responsibility to notify the employers of any overpayment. If this is in there and you dont then it is theft and gross misconduct which could be instigated after leaving.

if its not in the contract then leave for 6 months after which they can no longer chase you for it.

if it was me i would 'not notice', leave it in the same account it was paid into and wait the 6 months!

either way, if its a large company they prob wont pick it up as it was prob an error on a payroll run..
