My Subaru WRX
LOL just lying around eh, would it fit mine though? I don't know a whole lot about the turbo sizing etc.
The rolling road day will be a no for sure now unfortunately cos the mapper can't come back till the 12th

Well I have opted for the VF34 roller ball bearing turbo, I managed a good price at £600 instead of retail at £1200, as the turbo was put on an engine when they originally thought the old turbo had failed and found it was actually the main bearings, so after 80miles took it off and are going for a forged rebuild with rotated turbo, so it's no longer needed.
I think this will suit my needs better than the previous one as it has a power rating of 350-380bhp, the roller bearing means it will spool about 300-400rpm quicker than TD05 and boost faster giving a good punch. So I will get low down power which is what i want, but still make the 330bhp mark.
The build will be completed this Thursday  but I have to wait till the 12-04-10 for the mapper to be free again so I can let her loose  fanny driving on a base map for 2 weeks!!
Sounds promising, and a good deal ! :thumbup1:
Some pictures of the car at the moment, all that is left to do on the 12th April is to add the new drop links and anti-lift kit and then final re-map with the new turbo . .
I am using it as little as poss at the moment, just when necessary, it is hard work driving off boost and the new turbo starts spinning really early which will be a good thing when it's mapped, just not when keeping off it
 I'm always doing that, good spot though I did check as well!!
FIXED :p
