The HSD at softest settings still feel quite hard and at hardest setting they are very hard you could feel everything on the road. it all depends what you want from the coilovers. i was not too bothered about the ride comfort so got HSD and they are comfy at the softest setting. Also ARB is a very good mod increases handline by a lot. with both coilovers and ARB's will handle very well and you will love the car mate

I ve got a set of twin super streets I think with the edc controller. Worth the extra money as you can adjust the dampening from in the car. For example on the motorway I set them as hard as they ll go. And then a bumpy cobbled road for instance I can set them soft for a nice smooth rideSmile

asi. . if you ever decide does HSD are too hard they do another spring set that are a good bit softer so all you have to do is change the springs!!

but i have the same as you and feel the little bit of a harder drive is well worth it for the advantages they give

i dont think the v8 itself is heavier than the is200 engine as its aluminium constructed but the rest of the piping and turbo etc will make it heavier

i have Tein super street dampers with upper mount cost me around 920.00 I also bought the Tein EDFC(electronic damper force control unit) which is 295.oo something..I have its installed in WIM --then have my geo done. The height of the care was already set up well with the Tein and no need to adjust to be lowered especially we have alot of bumps around UK. I have the setting done as a high way for now as I am waiting for my EDFC to be installed so then i can control everything inside the car with ease. (wish someone can help me Wink

but anyway best thing ever done as the car is a bit more responsive and not much body roll. Also next step for me is buying the anti roll bar (hotchkis $300.00 american)
