Dark Samurai nope, he has an iphone 3g, hacked it with iOS4 on it, but its so weird, as only the iphone 3gs can multi task, yet his does multitasking but is only a 3g?????
But yes his is hacked and has the iOS4 on it.
parthiban I read that officially the 3GS will not multitask when upgraded to iOS4 normally, it must be because it's all hacked that it works.

yeap it does, updated mine to 4.0 the other day
Sorry my mistake then, must have read 3G rather than the S. Just seen the pricing on tesco mobile and for once it's actually quite reasonable, why would anyone get it on any other network!
Just been reading about this antenna fault though, and it's pretty stupid........it's exactly where you'd have the phone if you were using it to browse the web or something. They're going to get into a lot of c**p for this one, as that surely is a "fit for purpose" lawsuit waiting to happen.
The argument of hold it differently, or buy a case is simply not going to hold. Especially seeing as all the promo pics show the phone being held exactly how you're not supposed to.......
ive got a 3g on os4 software and jailbraked, only thing with multitask is it hammers your battery so bad,ive took mine off.

Was just reading some of the comments on Engadget on a blog about this issue, and there's some hilarious stuff coming out of it - weird as Engadget is a notorious Apple fan boy site, but Apple and Engadget's attitude to this has clearly annoyed many people!
Favourite comment so far:
THIS JUST IN...
Steve Jobs tells customers "You're holding the phone wrong morons! If you can't hold a phone the way WE want you to hold it then buy one of our bumpers... idiot."
Media responds with: "Your phone is good enough. We still love you."
