purplewitch24 I can tell you, certainly on the Supra, getting wheels to fit over them is an absolute nightmare ... all the ones I like won't fit. Found some I don't mind but I still don't have full wheel lock.. so when you see me doing a 27 point turn, it's not because I'm a girl, it's because I want to have tyres left at the end lol

have that with the MR2, on full right hand side lock the rubber rubs the inner arch.

oi you ! Between my front splitter being lower than the kerb and no full lock, I have to be careful.. three point turns and reversing is easy peasy .. I'm good at them.. it's parallel parking I'm a girl at .. luckily I don't go anywhere where I have to lol

Nice writeup! I have had the FIGS adapters for a while now, but never bought the Supra calipers.... (have the disks though...)

I also have a TIP so that you guys don't spill so much brake fluid when changing the caliper:
Put light pressure on the brake pedal, and lock it there. (not all you got, but so much that the wheels don't turn freely). I usually use some wood block against the seat.

When you do this, there will come almost no fluid out the brakehose at all! Smile

two quick questions...

can the supra calipers be used over Lexus brake discs, or brake discs come from Supra as well?

and would this setup allow to put 17-inch 5 spoke wheels back on without problem?

Hi mate,

no you have to use Supra discs.
and yes you can put the 5 spoke 17's back on, BUT you need 15mm spacers to get them on.

oh, ok, makes sense now Smile 'cos I wanted to keep them 5 spoke 17'th for winter usage (with winter tires obviously)

I'll be on the hunt for ones in that case Smile
