Bled the whole system with toxo the other day, made absolutely no difference. Fairly confident that all bubbles were removed. No leaks anywhere, fluid level is good. Is this likely to be a master cylinder problem?

Worth noting that I have ucf 20 4 pots on the front. Running out of ideas and it is getting annoying.

How old is the fluid? The fluid could be contaminated with water?

It's had an entire flush since the brake line was swapped a month ago.

The only way it'll be sponges then is if there's a leak or air getting in, could take the master off see if its wet behind it. Other wise check all the connections as tight with decent washers.

Will look again, but we checked all of the connections for any sign of leaks and they were dry as a bone. I reckon it's one of the front ones. Starting to annoy me now, doesn't feel that safe.

Use a vacuum bleeder its so much easier and increased flow removed some trapped bubbles. But could also be the master cylinder. The workshop manual covers the test.

Friend of mine had the same problem. He bought master cylinder and brake booster and that solved it...
