hi all,

on my is200 when i pop the boot it only comes up about a cm or even less can you fix it so it opens like it should or am i stuck with it like this

anyone with an idea would be great

iirc stav has done a mod so that it opens fully

You can put a strut in there that will allow it to open all the way same thing as the bonnet strutts etc

Yep options are to fit a strut or get some new springs which will work but they weaken over time so you'll have the same problem after a while.

YEah Rabster is right,

a gas strut and a bit of angle bar, attach the angle bar to the back of the boot, the strut to the lid. then when you unlock the boot it pushes open.
