Wish me luck
there were 31 questions in all, some I feel were more obvious to answer, another interesting one was somethin like this:
A customer returns with a contract compaining that they were charged for something that they were told would be free, you remember telling them it was free for the first month only, what do you do?
a. Explain that you understand their concern and will double check all the documents
b. Explain that they haven't been mis-sold anything and the documentation details all charges
c. Explain there has been a misunderstanding and you will look into it further by going through their bill in greater detail
I ruled out B immediately but I think A and C are both acceptable, I sway to A though myself
I can understand how askin these questions means they don't have to waste time interviewing too many people, but my cv should be enough lol, hate these silly questions, my brother's other half works for homebase and they have silly questions on the form with random answers, they are scored and a minimum of about 70 is required to get an interview, a handful of staff took the questions recently and only one of them got a ridiculously high mark of about 90, the rest got about half of that
Aye. Im only 16, and also looking for a job. (Part Time). So thought ide give tesco a shot. Took me about 30mins do the back page which was questions based on:
Tick one which is most likely, and one which is least likely.
Which Best Describes You:
Checks for Mistakes in work [ ] [ ]
Works to a schedule [ ] [ ]
Motivates a team well [ ] [ ]
Understands Health and Safety [] [ ]
Some of them are so broad etc. And also, is scored EDIT First Box Would be most likely. 2nd Box Least Likely. You Tick 2 answers. 1 Most and 1 Least. (So maybe worse than yours! )
its silly isn't it for some jobs, they want to be 100% certain ur the person before they offer u a position, and then u have a probationary period just incase they were wrong, I was screwed out of a payrise as I had to prove myself in my last job, which I did with ease, and then I got the payrise and back on a new probationary period to prove myself
its only retail, not like i'm swapping people's brains around or sending planes into the sky, what can go wrong selling someone a phone or a tracksuit?
i'm gettin wound up now lol
Update: I have passed the silly assessment and have an interview for the 4th August at 3pm one step closer
only thing is the phone call was a little crackly when I answered and I didn't actually hear who it was, however it was from an 07973 number which is Orange's main prefix
