Have you given a Sony PS3 any thought? Games console and a really good blu ray player all in one, and a lot cheaper than most blu ray players as well.

yep, ps3 defo does 3d.

I have been playing GT5 and Killzone in 3d.

Works well to stream as well from you pc.

Get a ps3 and then a separate surround system

Moley Ok next question can you have the ps3 in another room /in a cupboard in the hall and still play games in the livingroom?

It could be done as long as the controllers were still in bluetooth range, and you would need a wirless TV streamer (someone on here asked about one a while ago, theres a whole thread on it) for sending TV signals wirelessly between devices.

Although do you really want to have to leave the room and go down the hall everytime you want to change game or watch a dvd?

you can use the ps3 as a server, connect to the router and you can stream to a seperate computer or tv on local network. also upgrade the hard drive to as many terabites as you require and load as many films/games/music as you like.
