Happened today...
It was -15 degrees outside. started engine, and waited for it to warm up a little, when suddenly handbrake light came on and trac off light started blinking... restarted engine, lights still on.

car drives completly normal, abs works...

is that something common?

thanks

hmm does seem odd, would suggest theres a fault with the abs/braking system though

maybe it was because I started car with brake pedal pressed and kept it pressed for 5-7 minutes, maybe abs/trac ecu tought there is some kind of fault in brake switch, brake pressure or something...

i know handbrake light also indicates low fluid and brake light faults. fluid is in level and bulbs are ok...
last night when i went home from work, everything was ok.

this morning again - started the engine, 5minutes later brake light on and trac off blinking. after 50km ride both lights turned off.

very confusing...

guess I'll have to try to read trouble codes next time when this problem will appear. I tried my obd scanner and it did not show anything, so it is not engine related.

Just tried to read codes shorting E1 and Tc pins on DLC1 in engine bay. Got codes 44 and 52 if I did read them correctly.
Cant find any info online what these codes might indicate.

don't hold me to this but code 44 is a wheel sensor if can remember righty Il check and get back to you. Most of the time its just dirt on the senor like metal flakes.
