Here is how i did auto man conversion once you have car raised ie stands or if you are lucky on a four poster......
Disconnect battery then go under car remove exhaust down pipe undo trans pipes and transfer pipe also unplug box loom which runs up to plus just under battery ie pic
Then undo prop bolts you only need to undo from transfer box also undo front shaft from diff remove from box remove all bell housing bolts and starter motor it is easier if you take starter motor bolts out from inside of engine bay, also may help to undo fuel filter bracket and go in under plenum does help, if some ones under car to guide you on to bolt, Once you have done that there is cover a which gives you access to torx converter bolts once you have removed them support gear box undo gearbox mounting bolts lower gear box which will give you access to the top bell-housing bolts should be able to now lower gear box out and remove from under car......you will need to remove flex plate and gear box cover also auto bush in back of crank it can be pain to get out i used a cold chisel and beat hell out of it lol......
Now your box is out have a bit of a look & you will see that there is no hole for the shifter (if you hadn’t noticed already that is)
Now its time to remove all auto parts from inside car center consul gear selector, the handbrake the cable runs under dash along tunnel and under car there is also a cable linked to ignition remove this as well........you will now be able to make a hole for shifter. Measure the distance on the gearbox for the shifter then mark it out on the trans tunnel from the sandwich plate on the engine. Work out how much of a hole you need. The hole is not centred but should be slightly towards the drivers side of the vehicle. Before you cut make sure all your cables are out of the way inside the cabin. Especially the ones for the airbag module.
once handbrake is out of the way look up under dash you will see were your new clutch master goes remove the lining you will see pre stamped holes to drill out ie pic also the clutch pedal bolts up were handbrake used to mount....

you can now mount handbrake lever to the tunnel there is indents for where to drill i made a plate for under tunnel and nut and bolted mine in but its up to you......
you should now be ready to start getting new man box in you will need to put spigot bush in gearbox plate then flywheel put some thread lock on bolts...fit and aline clutch and bolt up once this is done slide box under car its a pain if your just on stands put it on jack raise up to engine, This is where it gets a bit tricky. You will need to tilt the motor back so you can meet up with the box. Do whatever you have to do to do it. Raise the box up into position while bringing it forward you will find the the trans tunnel is narrower than the box. You will be able to get the input shaft just about past the lower pressure plate fingers Get the box bolted up & begin reassembling everything. If your box does not have mounting bracket the one of your auto box will work fine.......
Right once thats all done there is not much left do do apart from bleeding clutch.......also you will need to bleed transfer as well o and sort wiring for box which i did as my last bit............
On the manual gearbox there is 3 sensors/switches
A speed sensor that tell your speedo your speed
A neutral switch that tells the ecu when you are in neutral, and gives a better idle
A reverse switch that turns on the reverse lights.
The speed sensor is the one closest to the engine, then comes the reverse switch and then the neutral switch.
when you removed the auto loom you would have noticed the loom split in to two directions, just behind the starter.
The cable that goes up just after the starter is the speed o sensor, and the thicker part ends up right next to the fuse box ref to pic posted all ready....
The speed sensor fits right into plug on the man box so no modding....
The thick cable spilts out into four connectors,
The top one is 2 fat wires these ones i cut but not to short soldered these together then covered them with shrink wrap protection....
The second plug down contains the neutral and reverse switch,
The black wire is ground
The green wire is reverse
The white wire is neutral
get rid of all the other wires you do not need use the black ground wire and spliced between the to switches then i connected green wire to reverse switch and the white wire to the neutral....
cover the other to spare plugs with some tape job done.......
