Now I'm triggering the TRC all the time (even in the dry) and this morning had quite a hairy aquaplaning moment on some standing water - again something that hasn't happened at all since getting the F1s and it was curious as the front was totally planted but it was just the rear that went.
I've looked at my tyres and they look fine, there's plenty of tread on them and nothing obvious wrong. Haven't checked my pressures for a bit so going to do that this evening but could there be anything else wrong?
I guess I could have knocked the geo out in a pothole or something but that couldn't have had such a drastic effect could it?

I'm not sure why everything seems to be going wrong at the moment, but over the last few weeks I haven't had as much grip at the rear as I have had in the past - on the F1s its been pretty much glued to the road until now.

Right so that is the most likely cause, just thinking that I only had the car serviced a few months ago, so maybe they dropped the pressures as per Lexus spec.....

Keep on top of your tyre pressure 35psi all round. You might have gone over an oil spill and some of it is still in the thread...

25-08-2016, 12:58 AM #6have to remember it's been dry for a while and suddenly when it's wet it will cause the roads to become more greasey, I would defo say check pressure+geo 35psi for me too.
I changed my tyres from Eagle F1's to FK452's and tbh I've found the Falkens to be better even when i'm larking around i've still not got the back end out with TRC off (apart from when they were first fitted and the car went sideways coming out of the tyre garage )

Thanks for all the replies, couldn't be bothered to check the pressures yesterday but hopefully do it tonight.
Only really noticed it because I was losing grip in the dry - around local roads I know exactly when and where I'll get some slip and the TC will flick on when turning right or left. Recently I've found the TC coming on at places where it wouldn't previously.

Checked my pressures, all were around 32 so think they might have knocked them down at the service a month ago.......but I also haven't checked them so probably that too!
