2tongues A different take on the cold air feed theme, only 1 question is there adequate water protection, from puddles etc?
The filter is probably already gets wet a few times but it stays within limits. The filter should be blown here and there as much dirt accumulates.
Behind the fence next to the fog lights I used to hold a plate at the worst

My interest was in the open air filters not visible when the hood is opened.
Soon there is the original air box to his old place - as atrappe for an original look

Seen this done before on the is200, works well from what i've read in the past, direct air flow to the filter and the rear section acts like a built in airbox, if you can find the newer inner plastic wing with the vents in, they help the air to escape causing less drag plus help to cool your brakes
