When you open the boot, you'll see two screw caps - pop them off, unscrew and the light will simply pull forwards and out. Should be pretty straightforward from there what needs to be done

You need to remove the light unit on the IS - there's no access panel from in the boot like on most other cars.

Marsdendean Get some Red LED's, will look even better than normal bulbs, and they are white bulbs
If you do go for LEDs remember you'll need load resistors or you'll get the bulb out warning on the dash.
