Engine cover
Engine cover
Hello everyone right here goes, I'm doing a engine cover for my Lex and a very good friend of mine a professional tattooist and graffiti artist is going to paint a design on it for me.
What I need to know is would I get away with standard spray paint or will I have to go with heat resistant??
If I do have to go heat resistant where would be the best place for paint??
Thanks in advance Pete.:thumbup1:
I would defin go with heat resistant paint does get very warm under there and you would want discolouration best place to get it from i am not not sure sorry couldnt be more help
My friend, also a tattooist, engraved an old MX5 cam cover for his car a while back.. that looked stunning.
Can't wait to see pics of yours!
That's what I was thinking got to have a word with him to see what sort of design we are going with and what colours we are going to need.
He has almost finished my first tattoo which is my whole back so I trust what he's got in mind 100%. Found some caliper paint in some bright colours so may have to get some of them. Thanks for the reply bud will post pics up when done and have a rep.
well if turns out ok i reckon u could make a lil money if looks ok im sure a few on here would like a engine cover lol
Well I have been looking for a engine cover for about 4/5 months now asking if anyone had one for sale and seeing a few home made ones but to no avail. My mate owns the old Jd supercharged is200 and he has the cmd stainless engine cover so the plan is to copy that and put my twist on it.
