Nissan Stagea Vinyl Wrap
Nissan Stagea Vinyl Wrap
Ok so have been thinking about this whole colour thing to go with my new body kit
and the cost of the kit alone is almost 3k but this will be the complete Masa r34 Kit including
front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Side Skirts
Front Wings
Headlights
Indicators
Bonnet
So with that in mind the cost for a respray is a little way off but a quick hunt around shows a car wrap can be about 1500 all in anybodsy seen a car thats been fully wrapped how durable is it ?
I know some people have done bonnets and roofs etc so looking for advice is it something i can do my self to keep costs down and if so where do i get the vinyl from how hard etc
Im kind of thinking a Pearl white now may look wicked
here is the same kit in yellow
Rabs - get a pro to do it, wraps look stig if not done 100% correct - get a pro in and let them do it until its correct.
I see loads of vinyl wrapped cars where I work in Bradford. And seen some of the more recognisable ones for a few years now. At the end of the day, same as painting, if you damage it you can always re-do a panel.
IMO I would avoid pearl white, seen it on a few cars and it just looks dirty! If you want white, go with the trend and get Audi white. It's be a difficult car to pick for, as it's huge! I a red like your old Lexus would look really good with the right wheels.
The vinyl place on driftworks has a 7 year guarantee on their vinyl wrapping I think. Don't quote me on that though! Plus, it protects the original paint. No machine polishing though!
RT Performance have wrapped a few zeds on the forum, and they done a brilliant job, they're currently selling their own wrapped one, hoping to get a few internal bits wrapped in the future
Good thing about wrap above respray is if you don't like it you can take it off lol
