Morning all,

First 'hard' drive of the car last night since I supercharged it and at "full speed" and full throttle the car seems to hesitate, its as though the rev limiter is kicking in early (at just under 6k)

Is this a symptom of the HKS FCD I'm using or is something else causing this problem?

Any opinions on cause or solution would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

David.

What setting is the FCD on ? It could be a symptom of it does the charger sound like its stressed when it hesitates ?

Not that I noticed but I couldn't really hear the charger over the sound of the exhaust and the wind!

I'll check the FCD when I finish work tonight.

It sounds like you might be hitting the fuel cut. A lower FCD setting might work, but it's not an ideal solution as you'll be running leaner instead.

Stix44 I think one of your black boxes has moved to the top of priority list Mr. Lindblom!
If it's AFR related my black box would probably do the trick. I've got one ready that I can send today mate.

I'll check the bank at lunch and see if I can get the money over to you.

right just to clear up it is more like a quick misfire or splutter that happens on this car. Also it does seem a little bit down on power from when we first fitted it. Not sure if that is because of the ECU being a learning ECU and has changed things or if it is because the car now has the air box fitted.

Did you reset the ecu when you fitted the air box?

Also I imagine the air box is more restrictive than the induction kit as well.
