Bypass spring Broke while Driving!
Bypass spring Broke while Driving!
Got home car was smoking really bad so got a light and looked bypass had not returned look and the spring was hanging off as it had broke on one side!
OMG like A little Spring Could Cause this much of a problem!

So where can i get new one or better type of bypass?
guna mod this spring in morning so can get about in my car n hope it dont go again!

13-03-2019, 12:26 PM #1Well as title says was on way home form gym just now 9pm and bang supercharger just went so loud! engine was making so much noise exhaust was crazy loud, just came to a stop no idea what it was pitch black on a duel carridge way had quick look and just couldnt see anything! was 5 min away from my house so just let it cool a bit and just about got it started again and rolled home at 20mph as its almost all down hill!

13-03-2019, 12:57 PM #2They replaced it a few years ago with a circular spring, similar to what you find on sprung pliers or the like.
It's not cheap but benami in Europe should have them.
