Amp bypass cable
I know most will say just wait till the end of the month. But I very much doubt my car will be sold on, as its falling to bits around me at the moment. So putting it back to standard isn't really an issue. I also have a facia adaptor plate too.
Can I not use one? I just bought a new head unit, but can't afford the cable till the end of the month. I have a standard ISO cable to match the head unit, but can I just cut the amp out of the loom?

02-04-2019, 03:00 AM #2You can do it yes, you need to cut the both plugs off then solder a wire from each together with all of them noting which.
Then behind the stereo cut the plug off and wire the iso cable to the right ones.

Mate i would wait wait wait till you have the cable or you will end up bald caused be you ripping out your hair tying to do the above!
And if you fack it up you'll end up with no stereo at all!!!!

LOL, can you imagine someone in that small space with a soldering iron trying to cut match and solder wires, that's one brave man indeed!!!
