Stevie,

I'm afraid that a breakers yard would mean the removal of the entire back plate and more trouvle and strife. I wonder just how many of us have the same problem, in other words the plate that I speak of has come adrift?

Thanks Stevie

If you look at the diagram which show the metal plate which is situated horizontally underneath the hole in the centre of the actual plate. If you follow the dotted line from the washer marked 4744BC you can see it

It's been acting a bit weird for me when I was trying it. Try just going here, then navigate to the Repair section, then Brake, then Parking Brake, then Components.

Thanks Stevie,

One of these times we will meet up. My boys were at JAE but stayed with the Honda boys at JAE (in fairness both have Civic's)

I was at Santa Pod for the Euro Finals.

Take care and thanks for your help

David
