steviewevie 4300K is typically what colour temp OEM HIDs are, so they're not yellow at all. Also bear in mind that 4300K will be slightly brighter than 6000K, and a lot brighter than 8000K.

Never had 4300k on the lexus, but my BM ones were yellowish and hence my comment.

I understand the colour temperature vs brightness scale.

Yep think I will probably just go for a new kit, probably 4300K at 50W - although using these with halogen reflectors will they be so much brighter than what I've got at the mo that it may cause trouble with the police?

Btw, the front fogs are not part of the MOT as mine just passed and my drivers fog is still not working so I'm guessing they didn't even switch them on Smile
