The paint work before on this car was really bad but what a transformation after 20 hour hard labour

Christian how should Vics Concourse be applied?
Not heard of this product before.

Hi Lexusboy, the Vics Concourse is a fantastic wax, they also do a collectors edition which is yellow but personally i think the concourse (red) is better. It is easy to apply and remove and gives a great warm glow with some very good depth to it, especially with 2 to 3 layers applied on a dark vehicle.

I prefer to use an applicator pad when applying wax. Depends on the conditions applied, but as always, dont apply in the sun or if the paintwork is hot to the touch. Once the applicator has a few swipes on it from the tub just work it into the car in small circles, overlapping as you go, a panel at a time. Nice thin layers of wax will produce far better results than slapping it on wasting product and most likely mutting the finish, always try to avoid going back to the tub, a little will go a long way. I can generally get round a medium sized car in 30 mins and remove within another 30 or so.

When i did the supra it was february and certainly not warm in that garage. i got round the whole car before removing any. As a rule you are best of doing a finger swipe test to see if its ready to come off. If it comes off cleanly without smearing, its ready to buff off.

Multiple layers on this product really do work well.

Generally anything dark is better for showing 50/50's, but also depends on the ambient light, camera etc

Yup, thats Jamie's supra, quite a lot has changed since last feb with it. Infact he's mapping tomorrow and hoping for as close to 1000 as he can get, if not it will be 'another' turbo order being placed i believe Smile

Yeah im not overly keen with carbon on black, it 'can' look good, but sometimes not, he's painted that spoiler now anyway after cracking it on a track.
